Robyn Norwood Editing was first launched in 2015 after Robyn received amazing response from authors in ministry who desired to publish their own works of non-fiction though lacking direction as to how.
In the basement library of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, Robyn provided a free opportunity for both first-time and seasoned authors to receive one-on-one guidance with vision casting their book ideas, and forming outlines. She offered her services through a workshop named Gathering of Messengers.
Shortly after, Robyn began to receive inquiry from writers and aspiring authors via email who were in need of assistance in the form of editing and book formatting. The needs of the authors she met shaped her offerings and gave birth to the Robyn Norwood Editing platform.
In 2017, the vision further expanded and the platform was renamed Norwood Publications, LLC covering a wider array of services. Robyn has assisted numerous authors with the pre-publishing process and pays homage to Kenya Cross, a friend and educator who worked alongside her since the beginning to ensure quality for every manuscript and an impeccable end result each time.
